A training seminar for the management teams of the Turkish partners under the Second Call for proposals was held on 13 November 2019 in Edirne, Turkey. The event started with the opening session where the participants were greeted by the Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria to the Republic of Turkey, the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to the Republic of Bulgaria, the Deputy Governor of Kirklareli District, the Deputy Governor of Edirne and the Mayor of Edirne Municipality. The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs H.E. Ambassador Faruk Kaymakci gave an interactive presentation of the results regarding the study to determine the priorities of the 2021-2027 Program, conducted by the Directorate for European Union Affairs in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Republic of Turkey.

Following the opening session, experts from the National Authority of the Programme and the JS branch office in Edirne presented in detail the modules: Tender procedures and financial implementation of projects, First level control, Beneficiary Portal, Technical implementation and monitoring, Implementation of investment project, Irregularities, Changes to the subsidy contract and Information and publicity requirements.
