On 30.09.2020 the Joint Secretariat of the Interreg - IPA Cross-border Cooperation Programme Bulgaria - Turkey with the support of the Managing Authority conducted online training for representatives of the Bulgarian project partners in the strategic project to be contracted under the Third Call. Lecturers were representatives of the Joint Secretariat and the Managing Authority of the Programme. The following topics were addressed during the training:

• Reporting, monitoring and implementation of the subsidy contract;

• Beneficiary portal;

• Verification of the costs by a controller;

• Financial implementation of the strategic project;

• Irregularities.

At the end of each module, the participants' questions related to the topic were answered.

During the training special attention was paid to the peculiarities of the implementation of the strategic project, as well as to the new rules and procedures established by the MA for implementation of projects in the conditions of restrictions introduced by anti-epidemic measures on both sides of the border.
