The 4th Joint Monitoring Committee meeting under the Interreg-IPA CBC Bulgaria – Turkey Programme 2014 – 2020 took place on January 9th, 2018 in Edirne. Representatives of central, regional and local administrations and non-governmental organizations from the cross-border region participated in the meeting.
The event was co-chaired by Mrs. Denitsa Nikolova, Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Public Works of Republic of Bulgaria and Mrs. Beyza Turan, Director of “Financial cooperation” Directorate in the Ministry for EU Affairs of Republic of Turkey.
The members of the Committee discussed and approved the Guidelines for Applicants and the Assessment Rules of the Second Call for project proposals under the Programme 2014-2020.
During the meeting the actual implementation of the Interreg-IPA CBC Bulgaria – Turkey Programme 2014 – 2020 was presented together with the progress of the closure of IPA CBC Programme Bulgaria-Turkey 2007-2013.
The Second Call for Project Proposals will be launched under both priority axes: “Environment” and “Sustainable Tourism” with total budget of EUR 15 650 351. For the first time the projects will be submitted electronically.
