Today, June 29^th, 2016 a meeting of the Joint Monitoring Committee (JMC) under Interreg-IPA CBC Bulgaria-Turkey Programme 2014-2020 was held in Edirne, Turkey. The JMC members reviewed and approved the following documents during the meeting:

•The Evaluation plan of the Interreg - IPA CBC Programme Bulgaria-Turkey 2014-2020;

•The updated Job descriptions of the personnel of the Joint Secretariat;

•The results from administrative compliance and eligibility check of the project proposals under the 1st Call for Proposals of the Interreg - IPA CBC Bulgaria-Turkey Programme.

The project proposals which have passed the first stage of evaluation will move on to the next stage – Technical Quality Assessment, which will be performed by external expert assessors. The best rated project will be proposed for financing.

The project proposals which have been rejected at this stage will be notified with individual letters regarding the reasons for rejection.
