EC Day 2019 – “Digital World is FUN”

Interreg – IPA CBC Bulgaria – Turkey Programme would like to invite you to the celebration of the European Cooperation Day 2019 under the motto “Digital Worls is FUN” which will be held on 19 September 2019 in Regional Library “Hristo Smirnenski“ - Haskovo.”

 The goal of this year’s event is to identify representative project results and benefits and to promote digital transformation by engaging children and young people and allow them through technologies to open a window to the world.

The event will target children of school age (8-12 years old) from Haskovo. The participants will demonstrate and develop their digital skills and will have a lot of fun. The program includes lessons on computer science with the programmable Finch Robot, fun games with Fluur mat Interactive and Mandala painting.

The celebration is organised by the Joint Secretariat of the Interreg-IPA CBC Programme Bulgaria - Turkey 2014-2020, in cooperation with Regional Library “Hristo Smirnenski“ - Haskovo (Lead Partner of the project “Haskovo and Edirne - cultural and historical destinations”, CB005.1.23.044 (www.ipacbc-bgtr.eu/projects-funded/haskovo-and-edirne-cultural-and-histo...).

The European Cooperation Day /ECD/ will be celebrated across Europe and in neighbouring countries for the eighth consecutive year in September 2019. The aim of the campaign which is coordinated by the INTERACT Programme in association with the European Commission, and supported by the Committee of the Regions and the European Parliament, is to celebrate the achievements of cooperation between European regions and countries.
