Public discussion and public consultations of the draft Cross-Border Cooperation Program between the Republic of Bulgaria and the Republic of Turkey 2021-2027

In regard to the preparation of the final version of the Cross-border Cooperation Program INTERREG IPA Bulgaria - Turkey 2021-2027 for official transmission to the European Commission (EC), as well as according to Art. 14, para. 2 of Decree № 142 of the Council of Ministers of 2019, the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works, as the Managing Authority (MA) of the INTERREG IPA Cross-Border Cooperation Program between the Republic of Bulgaria and the Republic of Turkey for the programming period 2021-2027 on 21 February 2022 through the Webex platform held a public discussion and public consultations of the draft program for the Bulgarian subject.

Representatives of regional and municipal administrations, cultural institutions, non-governmental organizations, media and other stakeholders took part in the public discussion and public consultations. Representatives of the Territorial Cooperation Management Directorate presented to the participants information about the programming process of the new program, the characteristics of the new program, the next steps and the draft Bulgaria - Turkey 2021-2027 with priorities, specific objectives and budget.

We remind you that comments and opinions on a published draft of the program can be submitted until 2 March 2022 in the office of the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works at the following address: Sofia, Sv. St. Cyril and Methodius ”№ 17-19, as well as in electronic form at the e-mail address ma_ipacbc@mrrb.government.bg.
