Özel Hedef 2.1: Doğal, kültürel ve tarihi miras ve ilgili altyapıdan daha iyi faydalanılarak sınır ötesi alanının turistik cazibesinin artırılması

The project aims to increase the tourist attractiveness of the municipalities of Topolovgrad (Bulgaria) and Inedzhe (Turkey) by improving the conditions for recreation and tourism through the efficient use of the existing natural resources.

The project envisages the creation of two zones for recreation and outdoor activities in the area of "Plochest" in Topolovgrad and in the area of "Chamlak" - Inedzhe. Grounds of ​​over 12 acres, traditionally used for games and events in nature, located near the city of Topolovgrad will be equipped with seating places, shelters, playground and barbecue facilities. The construction of a volleyball, basketball and soccer field, walking paths and a model of a Thracian sanctuary are also envisaged. In the "Chamlak" area in Inedzhe a zone for recreation, sport and public events in the open with area of ​​30 acres will be created. Placement of pavilions, tables, benches, facilities for basketball, mini-football and volleyball is envisaged. A prefabricated scene for conducting mass public events with equipment for sound and lighting will be installed. To promote the tourism attractiveness of both regions "Schools in the open" will be held in the created areas. For three days in Topolovgrad and in Inedzhe groups of 30 students from the secondary education schools of the two municipalities will gain knowledge about the natural heritage and biodiversity of the cross border region and will aquire survival skills in nature. The project envisages also the shooting of a film promoting the conditions for leisure and tourism in the two municipalities and the elaboration of a tourist catalog "Sakar Mountain."

The implementation of the project will expand the opportunities for recreation in the cross border region, will promote the development of sustainable tourism as a tool for socio-economic revival and will increase the competitiveness and the incomes of local people.

Projenin temel amacı, Topolovgrad Belediyesi (Bulgaristan) ve İnece Belediyesi’nde (Türkiye) rekreasyon ve turizm koşullarını iyileştirerek turizm çekiciliğini arttırmaktır. Yerel topluluklar ve turistler için çok önemli iki alan olan - Topolovgrad'daki Plochest ve İnece'deki Çamlık, Bulgaristan ve Türkiye’nin sınır ötesi bölgesini ziyaret etmek için en iyi yerlerden ikisi olagelmiştir. Proje kapsamındaki ana faaliyetler, bu güzel çam ormanı alanlarındaki rekreasyon ve turizm koşullarının mimari elemanların yerleştirilmesi ve ihtiyaç duyulan kaynakların temin edilmesi yoluyla iyileştirilmesidir.

Yeni geliştirilmiş rekreasyon ve turizm alanlarına ilişkin proje sonuçları ve hem belediyelerin hem Bulgaristan hem de Türkiye'nin sınır ötesi alanının bir parçası olan turizm cazibesi potansiyeli, proje kapsamında ele alınan çeşitli etkinlikler ve materyallerle yaygın olarak tanıtıldı. Plochest'te düzenlenen “Doğada Okul” - Topolovgrad, Topolovgrad'dan 30 öğrenciye, dağlarda fotoğraf çekmek ve yönlendirmek için modern teknik donanımlar kullanarak, doğada hayatta kalma becerileriyle, doğal ve kültürel miras ve biyoçeşitlilik hakkında bilgi verildi. Aynı tür etkinlik - “Doğada Okul” Inece'deki Çamlık'da ancak Bulgaristan'dan 10 öğrencinin ve Türkiye'den 20 öğrencinin katılımıyla gerçekleşti. Çamlık'daki “Doğada Okul” etkinliği her iki ülkeden gelen genç öğrenciler için güçlü bir sınır ötesi değişim unsuruna sahiptir. “Doğadaki Okullar” çok ilginç ve faydalı olduğu etkinliklerle görülmüştür ve Topolovgrad ve İnece'de bütün sınır ötesi alan için güzel bir örnek olma niteliği taşımaktadır.

Proje sonuçları, Topolovgrad ve İnece'deki yerel topluluklara, her bir şehirde yerel halkla yapılan toplantılarda özel olarak düzenlenmiş olarak sunulmuştur. En etkili sonuçlar arasında, her iki belediyenin rekreasyon ve turizm için güzelliğini ve çekiciliğini destekleyen tanıtım malzemelerinin oluşturulmasıdır. Proje kapsamında iki çok özel tanıtım ve reklam materyali hazırlandı - çok ihtiyaç duyulan Gezi rehberi “Sakar Dağı” ve eşsiz bir tanıtım filmi "Güzellik, Ruh ve Gelenekler - Sakar Dağı ve aşağı Tunca Nehri'ne ulaşan yolculuk" ikisi de kalitesini kanıtladı ve bölgenin sahip olduğu büyük potansiyeli ve çekiciliği göstermiştir.

Eko Turizm destinasyonu olarak Topolovgrad ve İnece Belediyesi'nin ilgi çekiciliğinin artırılması" projesi, Bulgaristan ve Türkiye'nin sınır ötesi bölgesinde hem rekreasyon hem de turizm alanlarında en büyük sosyal etkiye sahip projelerden biri olmuş, hem rekreasyon hem de turizm alanları olan Plochest ve Çamlık alanlarında turistler ve vatandaşlar için ziyaret edilmesi gereken bir nirengi noktası haline gelmiştir. Ayrıca, sınır ötesi bölgenin neler barındırdığı hakkında daha fazla bilgi edinmek isteyen turistler için her iki rekreasyon ve turizm alanı mükemmel bir başlangıç noktası haline gelmiştir.

The project aims is to create an information system that will significantly increase the tourist activity and the overall exchange of people which will lead to the improvement of the quality of life in the areas of Edirne and Haskovo. The overall objective is to develop contemporary tourist attractive services in the public cultural sector by using the modern technology.
Project activities will provide opportunities for new joint efforts in preservation and promotion of cultural heritage in the two regions. The major activities are  Joint Project Steering (JPS) meetings for development of mechanisms for CB support and sharing good practices, Joint Expert Network (JEN) meetings to establish a network for sharing know-how of cultural heritage potential and sustainable tourism Augmented Reality for traditional costumes to develop contemporary tourist attractive services in the public cultural sector; Development of joint GIS platforms - the historical heritage in the cross-border region will be promotion in an innovative way, elaboration of one brochure “CULT TOUR” and one  Catalogues "Culture Heritage" for marketing of sustainable and diverse, specific tourism products with high added value and increasing the sector's contribution for sustainable regional development. Additionally are envisaged the events "Тraditions and continuity" and "Moma Vs. Kokona" to promote the historical heritage in CB region. Six Promotional events "Ancient and eternal" will be held to involve local communities in the processes of developed contemporary tourist attractive services in public cultural sector using the ICT and e-Tourism and promote the historical heritage in the region as a whole.
The implementation of the activities will increase the touristic attractiveness of the CB area through better utilisation of natural, cultural and historical heritage and related infrastructure. The project will improve the exchange of information among people and the quality of life in the two regions. As a result of the installed "cloud" GIS platform, an integrated database of cultural resources will be achieved through the implementation of modern interactive information technologies and the creation of web-based applications for promotion of the cultural and historical monuments on the territory of the two regions. The development of a geographical information system for tourist attractions aims to achieve the optimal and efficient use of the tourist potential of the CB region. The project has the innovative idea to provide conditions for development of tourism, as well as to promote culture and traditions.

"Çapraz-Trakya Bağlantısı" projesi Trakya'nın Bulgaristan ve Türkiye sınırında hayat buldu, tarihi ve doğal miras bilincini hem geleneksel hem de dijital yöntemlerle ele aldı. Proje, her iki bölgede de az bilinen bölgelerin popülaritesini artırmayı ve çeşitli dijital formların kullanımıyla bu bölgelerdeki turist kaynaklarını tanıtmayı amaçlamıştır. Her iki ülkeden uzmanlar, atölye çalışmaları aracılığıyla, kendi bölgelerindeki bilinen, az bilinen ve bilinmeyen yerleri, eserleri, olayları, yaşam tarzları, hikayeleri, kıyafetleri, taşları, toprakları, suları, ormanları, gelenekleri, şehir sanatları, kırsal cazibe merkezleri ve bilinmeyen efsaneleri tespit edip yorumladılar. Uzmanlar, geçmişin ruhunu bazen kilise bahçesinde, bazen cami bahçesinde, tarihi bir çeşmenin yanında veya müze bahçesinde keşfederek, yöresel kostümler ve antik danslarla, bölgeyi bir tür turistik cazibe merkezi olarak, insanların duyularına hitab eden rengarenk bir zevke dönüştürdüler. Son olarak, Uzmanlar tarafından tespit edilmiş olan 88 cazibe noktası, Türkiye'de Keşan, Enez, Edirne, Bulgaristan'da Mineralni Bani ve Haskovo'da, 4 ayrı noktada etkinlikler eşliğinde tanıtıldı. Heriki bölgenin cazibe köşelerini anlatmak için, turizmcilere geziler eşliğinde aktarıldı. Bulgaristan ve Türkiye'nin daha az bilinen bu 88 noktası, akıllı haritaya aktarılarak digital bölgesel rehber uygulamasına dönüştürülüp, teknolojinin bilişim alanındaki tanıtım fırsatları uygulanmış oldu. This projects overall objective is to increase the tourist attractiveness of the  Municipality of Nessebar (Bulgaria) and Municipality of Kirklareli (Turkey) through better use of natural and cultural heritage and related to it infrastructure.

The project envisages activities for reconstruction of a road network – “Mesamvriya” Str., "Metropolitska" Str., “Ribarska” Str., “Mena” Str. in the town of Nessebar and construction of architectural elements and facilities in the “Walldorf” park in the town of Kırklareli. Shaping areas of creativity for street artists, actors and musicians is also planned. The main activity of the partners from Kırklareli (Turkey) is implementation of the second phase of the park "Walldorf" located on the outskirts of the city. Within the project activities the road network will be reconstructed in order to form the main pedestrian routes in the Old Town of Nessebar and in "Walldorf" park in Kırklareli, Turkey is planned construction of architectural elements and equipments - bike trails, outdoor fitness facility and installation of clean solar lighting. The project envisages joint events for the official opening of the completed projects  - happening featuring local artists and artists in Old Nessebar and athletic competition for children in the park built in Kırklareli. Within the project also provides it will be produced promotional video for cultural and natural heritage of the two communities, which will be broadcasted during the scheduled official events and will be distributed in the form of a CD track during project implementation in order to promote the region and attract visitors' interest.

The project implementation will ensure promotion of the cultural-historical and natural heritage in an attractive way. Competitive tourist attractions will be developed within the project and a cultural tourism product in the cross-border region will be popularised.

Proje fikri, Nesebar ve Kırklareli Belediyesi arasındaki iyi ilişkilerin ve başarılı işbirliğinin doğal bir devamı olarak ortaya çıkmıştır. Projenin uygulanmasıyla, her iki sınır ötesi belediyede turistler için çekici olan ve ziyaret edilen tüm mimari alanların tasarlanarak modern dünyada kültürel, tarihi ve doğal mirasın öneminin teşvik edilmesini ve kültürel, tarihi ve eko turizmin gelişmesiyle doğal ve kültürel mirasın tanıtımının edilmesi amaçlanmıştır.

Gerçekleştirilen ihalenin ardından Nesebar'daki yapım işleri için yüklenici seçildikten sonra, yerel ve bölgesel medyada yaygın olarak yer alan Kırklareli Belediyesi'nden ortakların katılımıyla büyük bir temel atma töreni düzenlenmiştir. Daha sonra projede belirtilen ana faaliyetler gerçekleştirilmiş- Tarihi Nesebar Kenti'ndeki Canlanma Döneminin sokak ve kaldırım kaplamalarının yenilenmesi ile mimari öğelerin ve tesislerin yapım işi - bisiklet yolları, açık hava jimnastiği, Kırklareli'ndeki Waldorf Korusunda güneş enerjisi kurulumu gerçekleştirilmiştir. Her iki belediyenin tanıtımı için özel bir reklam filmi İngilizce, Bulgarca ve Türkçe olarak üç dilde oluşturulmuş, 500 adet DVD'ye basılarak projenin etkinliğinde dağıtımı sağlanmıştır. Aynı zamanda, projeyi tanıtmak ve görselleştirmek için proje ve ortaklar hakkında bilgiler içeren 500 adet broşür hazırlanarak dağıtılmıştır. Son olarak, tüm inşaat faaliyetleri tamamlandıktan sonra birçok vatandaş, gazeteci ve yetkili tarafından ziyaret edilen yeniden yapılandırılan altyapının açılışı için sırayla Kırklareli’nde ve Nesebar'da iki adet resmi tören gerçekleştirilmiştir.

The project partners focus on increasing the touristic attractiveness of the cross border area Pehlivankoy - Sredets through better utilization of the common natural and cultural resources and related infrastructure.
Within the project the access road leading from village of Goliamo Bukovo, Municipality of Sredets, to the healing spring in the “St. Zhivotopriemniy Iztochnik” monastery in Strandja/Yildiz Mountain will be reconstructed, as well a new walking path will be created. Under the project a joint Digital Atlas of the Mountain Springs in Strandja/Yildiz with related tourism facilities as a smart application will be developed.
As a result of the implementation of the project the accessibility to one natural and cultural touristic site in Strandja/Yildiz Mountain will be improved as well an infrastructure capacity for better utilization of the common cultural resources in Pehlivankoy and Sredets will be built for all eco tourists that prefer healthier and more active lifestyle.
