Technical maintenance of the Management information system (MIS)

Dear Project partners,

Due to planned maintenance and repair activities, the communication systems, information resources and services managed by the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works of the Republic of Bulgaria, the MIS system under the Interreg-IPA CBC Programme Bulgaria-Turkey 2014-2020, might not be available in the period from 07:00 AM on 18 November 2017 until 07:00 AM on 20 November 2017.

For the sixth consecutive year in September 2017 the European Cooperation Day /ECD/ will be celebrated across Europe and in neighbouring countries. The aim of the campaign which is coordinated by the INTERACT Programme in association with the European Commission, and supported by the Committee of the Regions and the European Parliament, is to celebrate the achievements of cooperation between European regions and countries.

Project finalist for the RegioStars Awards 2017

The project “Enhancing the Respect for Gender Equality in BG-TR cross-border area – EQUITY”, funded by the Bulgaria – Turkey IPA Cross-border programme 2007-2013, has been selected as a finalist for the RegioStars Awards 2017 in the category: “Women Empowerment and Active Participation”.

The award ceremony will take place in Brussels on 10 October during the 2017 European Week of Regions and Cities.

The RegioStars Awards identify good practices in regional development and highlight original and innovative projects that are attractive and inspiring to other regions.

A practical training on the Beneficiary portal was conducted on 20th and 21st of April 2017 in Haskovo, Bulgaria. The event was organized by the Joint Secretariat with the support of the Managing Authority of the INTERREG - IPA Cross-Border Cooperation Programme Bulgaria – Turkey.

Project Implementaion Training will be organized by the Ministry for EU Affairs in cooperation with the Joint Secretariat Edirne Office at Balkan Congress Centre of Trakya University on 25 April 2017, for the beneficiaries of the First Call for Proposals who are invited to sign the subsidy contract and have already signed it under INTERREG IPA Bulgaria-Turkey Cross Border Cooperation Programme.
