The European Commission approved the Cross-border Cooperation Programme between Bulgaria and Turkey for the period 2021-2027 with a Decision of November 22, 2022.

Over the next 7 years, over 34 million euros will be invested in the regions of Burgas, Yambol, Haskovo, Edirne and Kirklareli.

The largest share of the program budget, nearly 25 million euros, is aimed at investments in integrated territorial development with a focus on the specific needs of the region. Under this priority, projects in the field of tourism and services of general interest will be supported.

Управляващият орган (УО) на програмите за трансгранично сътрудничество България-Сърбия, България-Северна Македония и Българи-Турция кани следните групи юридически лица с нестопанска цел за общественополезна дейност (ЮЛНЦ), които да участват в Съвместните комитети за наблюдение:

 - организации, работещи в областта на защита на основните права, равенството между мъжете и жените, недискриминацията и равните възможности;

 - организации, работещи в сферата на социалното включване и интегрирането на маргинализираните групи;

 - организации за защита на околната среда;

In regard to the preparation of the final version of the Cross-border Cooperation Program INTERREG IPA Bulgaria - Turkey 2021-2027 for official transmission to the European Commission (EC), as well as according to Art. 14, para.

The next 7 years the cross-border region between Bulgaria and Turkey will face a number of challenges that require a different, integrated response to territorial needs.
